This policy explains when you can get your money back for a Snapassport order. We sell two kinds of things, and they are treated differently because one can be un-sold and one cannot. In short: digital products are refundable, no questions asked; printed products that we produce and ship are made to order and cannot be refunded for a change of mind, but we will always make it right if something is wrong with them.
Digital products — full refund, no questions asked
Digital products are the things you receive as files: your validated, print-ready passport or visa photo download (JPEG and PDF), the emailed copy of your photo, and the optional $10 AI enhancement.
If you are not happy with a digital product for any reason, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, return anything, or delete the files — we simply refund you.
On top of that, our pay-only-on-pass guarantee still applies: you are only charged when we can produce a photo that passes our validation checks, and if you pay but our AI fix cannot get a failing photo to pass, your payment is automatically refunded in full without you having to ask.
Printed & shipped products — made to order
Printed products are physical prints we produce specifically for your order — for example same-day pickup prints at a partner pharmacy and prints we mail to your address. Each set is printed from your individual photo at the moment you order; once printed, it has no value to anyone else and cannot be returned to stock or resold.
For that reason, printed and shipped products are not refundable for a change of mind after we have sent them to print or to our fulfillment partner — including if you ordered the wrong quantity, decided you no longer need them, or your photo was later rejected by an authority. This is the standard treatment for personalized, made-to-order goods.
We will, of course, fix or refund a printed order if something is wrong on our end. If your prints arrive defective, damaged in transit, never arrive, or we sent the wrong item, contact us and we will reprint them or refund the print portion of your order at no cost to you.
Note: a printed order usually includes a digital copy of the same photo. That digital copy remains refundable under the digital-products section above, independent of the prints.
How to request a refund
Email support@snapassport.com from the address you used to order, and include your order or photo reference if you have it. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via our payment processor and may take several business days to appear on your statement.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy removes any mandatory consumer-protection or refund rights you have where you live. Where local law requires a refund that goes beyond what is described above, that law controls. Where local law allows a business to exclude change-of-mind refunds for personalized or made-to-order goods, this policy relies on that exclusion for printed products.
